Answer engines don't rank pages the way a search engine does. They quote them. To get quoted, a page has to answer the question plainly in the first two or three sentences, name the business making the claim, and ship that answer in the HTML rather than loading it in afterwards.
Most local websites fail all three tests at once, which is why so few of them ever get cited. Metcalf Media builds every page to pass them: question-shaped headings, complete answers up front, the business named in the third person, structured data throughout, and an llms.txt file for the crawlers that read it.
This is the cheapest advantage available right now, because almost nobody in the trades is doing it yet.
